Founded in 2002, Velo Girls is the premier women's cycling club in the San Francisco bay area. We offer rides, clinics, and events for women (and men) throughout the year. Jennifer was only 20 years old when diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, on September 2, 2006. After undergoing 9 months of grueling chemotherapy, in May of 2007, Jen was done with treatments and able to resume a "normal" life.
